Born in the Soviet Union in 1948, Baryshnikov began his ballet training in 1960 and made his debut with the American Ballet Theatre in 1974. Vladimir Radunsky is the illustrator of many children's books, including Manneken Pis: A Simple Story of Boy Who Peed on a War, which he also wrote, Bling Blang, My Dolly, Howdi Do, and What Does Peace Feel Like.
